Rosie Floyd

Rosie Floyd is a Pets, Homes & Garden Product Writer for A Modern Kitchen, specialising in kitchen appliances.

Rosie has been with Bauer Media since 2022 and has contributed to a number of titles, including Take a Break, Yours, Modern Gardens and Mother & Baby. Having known from an early age that she wanted to be a writer, Rosie went on to study Journalism & Media at Coventry University where she achieved a BA with honours in 2015. Her career highlights before joining Bauer include writing content around must-visit holiday destinations and luxury hotels and a role that was all about creating content around outdoor living for a family-run garden buildings manufacturer.

Since becoming a homeowner for the first time, she has been slowly but surely turning her house into a home, which has included a lot of time researching and shopping for all the best kitchen appliances. Rosie also enjoys baking and likes to whip up sweet treats for her family and friends whenever she gets a spare moment.

Outside of the kitchen, you’ll usually find Rosie cuddled up to her three dogs, Gina, Barney and Bella, watching the Mamma Mia films on repeat, singing along to 90s and 00s pop and endlessly scrolling Instagram and TikTok.
